Stop-Motion Animation

To communicate the USP of their packaging, Capri-Sun wanted to use a simple and clear medium. They chose a stop-motion animation because it succinctly captures the uniqueness of the packaging in just a few steps. The animation was intended to be broadcast primarily on social media channels, thus resulting in various video formats from one animation.

By implementing the animation in digital 3D, open questions could be answered during the design process. One of these was how to present the competitor's packaging. It shouldn't be associated with any well-known brand and should be presented as neutrally as possible, yet recognizably. Various lighting situations and backgrounds could be tested without having to animate everything from scratch.
